Supporting Drop Out Recovery Programs
I am super excited about the instructional coaching and design work that I've been supporting JFF with for the dropout recovery population. This paper details the successes before the COVID 19 pandemic, however, my work continues now by supporting the teachers of the dropout recovery population with online training sessions using research-based best practice strategies in a virtual format.
Empowering Hearts and Minds
While working as Deputy Director, Programs at Educate Texas, I led this Federal Grant in Texas. Successes of my leadership were:
• Established processes to mobilize senior district administration to achieve Federal Grant milestones, leading to 90% of high school students earning college credit and 82% of seniors in two PSJA i3 high schools gaining transferrable dual credit.
• Cultivated and strengthened partnerships with four post-secondary institutions and numerous organizations.
